Silencing Voices

Censorship in Texas Libraries

Texas libraries are facing unprecedented threats to intellectual freedom. What is driving these book challenges? What impact are they having on communities and librarians? How has the library community responded? What resources are available to libraries to help them prepare for and respond to challenges?

The Texas Library Association has been on the front lines of this battle, supporting Texas librarians and advocating for intellectual freedom at the local and state level.
