Submit Application

All site visits are scheduled at least one month before the grant deadline to allow the library sufficient time to complete the application.

What to Consider

It is your job to convey the transformational vision for your library. Do not rely on the architect’s documents to tell your story.

Architect-Provided Documents for Grant Application

What This Includes

The architect will share the floor plan as finalized at the site visit. It will be coded to reflect the shelving and all furniture selections.

The architect will also provide an estimated cost budget for furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). These two documents are required uploads on the grant application.

Tips for success

Allow time to carefully review the final floor plan and budget prepared by the architect to make sure it reflects the choices made at the site visit. If requested, Foundation staff are available to do a quick review of your application before submitting.

Supplemental PDF of Selections

The architect will also provide a PDF file containing all selections made, that includes product cut sheets and scans of selected finishes. This pdf does not become a part of the grant application. It is for your use only.

Why This Matters

This document is a valuable tool on delivery day to verify that all items appear as ordered. It can also be used as a powerful visual aide for additional grants or local fundraising campaigns.
